Day 1 | Arrive in Beijing

Welcome to Beijing, one of China’s most historic and culturally rich cities. Your private guide will greet you in the arrival hall and escort you to your hotel by private car. No sightseeing is arranged today, allowing you to rest after your journey and prepare for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2 | Beijing: Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the National Museum of China, and Hutong Alleys

Begin the day at Tiananmen Square, one of the most symbolic landmarks in China. Then continue to the Forbidden City, the magnificent imperial palace that served as the home of emperors for nearly five centuries. Lunch will feature authentic Peking duck, one of Beijing’s most celebrated traditional dishes.

Day 3 | Beijing: Temple of Heaven and the Mutianyu Great Wall

In the morning, visit the Temple of Heaven, where ancient emperors once prayed for good harvests. It is a masterpiece of traditional Chinese ritual architecture. Today, it is also a lively place where local residents gather for morning exercise, tai chi, dancing, and other leisure activities.

In the afternoon, head to the Mutianyu Great Wall. This beautifully restored section is known for its magnificent mountain scenery, well-preserved watchtowers, and wide-open views, making it one of the best Great Wall experiences near Beijing.

Day 4 | Beijing – Zhangjiajie: Flight

Today, transfer to the airport for your flight to Zhangjiajie, departing at around 1:00 PM and arriving at about 4:00 PM. Upon arrival, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel for check-in.

Day 5 | Zhangjiajie: Tianmen Mountain、72 Tujia Stilted Buildings

Today, visit Tianmen Mountain, one of Zhangjiajie’s most famous scenic areas. Ride the long cable car up the mountain and enjoy dramatic views of valleys, cliffs, and winding mountain roads along the way.
