Welcome to Xi’an! Your private guide will greet you at the airport or railway station.

Enjoy a seamless private transfer to your hotel. During the ride, your guide will introduce Xi’an’s fascinating history — from imperial capital to the eastern starting point of the Silk Road.

Day 2 — Xi’an | Terracotta Warriors & Huaqing Palace

Breakfast & Lunch

After breakfast, enjoy a comfortable private transfer (about 1 hour) to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum.

Enter the museum area by tram and explore the three remarkable pits that reveal Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s vast underground army. Your guide will explain how these warriors were created, preserved, and once painted in brilliant colors.

Special experience: Get a close look at restored Terracotta Warriors, learn about their restoration story, handle authentic Qin Dynasty relics, and join a hands-on restoration-style activity for a deeper understanding of this archaeological wonder.

In the afternoon, visit Huaqing Palace, the famous Tang Dynasty hot-spring retreat connected to the legendary love story of Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei.

Optional evening upgrade: Watch the outdoor cultural show “Everlasting Regret” (Chang Hen Ge), one of China’s most renowned historical performances.

Day 3 — Xi’an | City Highlights & Foodie Adventure

Breakfast & Lunch

Begin the day at the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a graceful Tang Dynasty structure within the Jianfu Temple complex.

Continue to the Xi’an Museum, showcasing artifacts across multiple dynasties — pottery, stone carvings, calligraphy, and paintings — offering a deeper understanding of the city’s cultural layers.

Later, walk along the Ancient City Wall, one of China’s best-preserved defense systems. Enjoy panoramic views where the old city meets the modern skyline.

In the afternoon, dive into a Muslim Quarter food safari, tasting signature snacks and discovering how Xi’an’s cuisine continues to evolve.

Explore the Shaolin Temple complex (tram available), visiting historic halls, pagodas, and the famous Forest of Pagodas, each reflecting the deep connection between Buddhism and martial arts culture.

Enjoy a dynamic 30-minute Kung Fu demonstration, where performers showcase classic Shaolin movements and traditional weapons.

In the late afternoon, visit Yingtianmen, an impressive gate site offering panoramic views over Luoyang. If time allows, explore the nearby night market, sampling local snacks and browsing souvenirs.
