Day 1 Hangzhou Arrival

Day 2 Hangzhou | West Lake, Lingyin Temple, Hefang Street
Begin your journey with West Lake, a landmark of classical Chinese beauty known for its tranquil waters and elegant surroundings. Continue to Lingyin Temple, a famous ancient Buddhist temple hidden among peaceful hills and lush greenery.
Later, stroll along Hefang Street, where traditional architecture, local snacks, and handicrafts bring the charm of old Hangzhou to life.
Day 3 Hangzhou | Maling Tianguan
Spend the day at Maling Tianguan, known for its dramatic mountain scenery and exciting viewpoints. Step onto the famous Buddha’s Hand Bridge, walk along the cliffside pathway, and, weather permitting, enjoy the magical sight of a sea of clouds drifting through the mountains.
Day 4 Hangzhou to Luoyang | Longjing Tea Village / Nine Creeks
Before leaving Hangzhou, visit Longjing Tea Village to experience the culture of the world-famous Dragon Well tea. Surrounded by tea terraces and fresh mountain air, the area offers a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. You may also visit Nine Creeks Scenic Area, known for its clear streams, bamboo groves, and natural charm.
Later, take the high-speed train to Luoyang.
Day 5 Luoyang | White Horse Temple, Yingtian Gate, Mingtang
Visit White Horse Temple, one of the most important Buddhist sites in Chinese history. Its quiet courtyards and historic atmosphere provide a meaningful cultural experience.
In the evening, explore Yingtian Gate and Mingtang, where illuminated Tang-style architecture evokes the grandeur of Luoyang’s imperial past.
Day 6 Luoyang to Chongqing | Longmen Grottoes
Today’s highlight is the magnificent Longmen Grottoes, one of China’s most celebrated Buddhist heritage sites. Carved into limestone cliffs along the river, the grottoes contain thousands of statues and reliefs created over many centuries. The monumental Vairocana Buddha is especially impressive.
After the visit, continue your journey to Chongqing.
Day 7 Chongqing | Mountain City Alleys, Kuixinglou, Jiefangbei, Hongyadong
Discover the charm of Chongqing, a city famous for its steep hills, layered streets, and cinematic skyline. Wander through the old mountain city alleys, then visit Kuixinglou, one of the best places to appreciate Chongqing’s astonishing multi-level urban layout.

Day 8 Chongqing to Zhangjiajie | Eling Park, Liziba Monorail Station

Later, travel onward to Zhangjiajie.
Day 9 Zhangjiajie | Tianmen Mountain, 72 Wonder Towers
